Most parts supplied by Parts4pickups are removed from low mileage salvage vehicles. We purchase good quality stock. parts are checked and tested before dismantling. Parts are used and are sold as such. We aim to supply good value to all our customers. we guarantee each part for 3 months unless stated otherwise. Used parts may show signs of cosmetic damage but are in full working order..

We always aim to supply the exact part required however due to variation in model, design and year of manufacture, we cannot give a 100% guarantee that parts are correct unless we are contacted before purchase and provided with a part or parts numbers.. All sales are made on the strict understanding that the customer is responsible for the correct information given. Exchange or refunds are offered, but carriage charges are excluded.

Parts4Pickups can not accept responsibility for damage to the said part or any motor vehicle to which it is fitted or to any impaired performance caused by faulty installation or subsequent damage caused by lack of maintenance or for the loss of use of a motor vehicle whilst part is being returned or exchanged.

All engines are warranted against cracked cylinder blocks or heads, bad cam or crankshaft, excessive smoking, and to be in good running order unless otherwise stated.

Cylinder head castings are guaranteed against cracks ONLY.

Any used engines purchased must have new oil, filter and cam belt if applicable, as recommended by the manufacture.

This warranty does not cover accessories to engines such as: cam belt, water pump, fuel pump, carburettor, distributor, computers, clutch, hoses, cables, etc.

Engines and transmissions must have new seals and new oil upon installation into a vehicle (warranty does NOT cover rear main engine seals).

Back axles and gearboxes are guaranteed to work properly; gears are guaranteed to be in good condition, bearings are guaranteed not to be noisy at time of purchase. There is NO guarantee for labour to install or remove.

Proper oil levels and cooling levels must be maintained at all times for warranty to be valid.

When "Heat Tabs" have been fixed onto a cylinder heads or engines, the warranty becomes void if the Heat Tab is missing or has been damaged or melted (melting of the centre of a Heat Tab shows that the part has been overheated).

NO refunds or returns for `cut to order` body sections, or special order parts.

All Warranty installations must be carried out by a certified, reputable fitter / workshop or an authorised agent or establishment. Improper installation will void this warranty.

All warranty claims must be presented to parts4pickups within the number of days specified from date of purchase for this warranty to be valid.

Parts4Pickups may undertake to: replace parts, repair or refund the original purchase price - NO labour costs are covered.

Refunds and replacements are for parts only - carriage / delivery charges are not included, therefore not refundable.

This warranty does not cover parts that are used in connection of any vehicle racing or competitive sport, off off-roading. Rallying, drifting, etc. This warranty does not cover damage or accidents caused by misuse or by parts being modified to enhance performance or appearance.

Unless the part purchased is faulty, the returned part may be charged with a handling fee of 25%.

Parts4pickups does NOT assume responsibility for towing charges, lay-up time, telephone charges, losses due to down-time, costs and lodging, costs of vehicle use, inconvenience, and vehicle rental / hire.

Warranty is for the part sold as stated only, not for ancillaries or attachments.

These terms and conditions of sale are not intended to restrict or exclude any legal rights bestowed or implied by Law or a consumers statutory rights under the `Sale of Goods Act` 1977 or any amendments thereof.


Parts – Terms & Conditions

Parts purchased will comply with the Sale & Supply of Goods Act 1994 and be of “Satisfactory Quality” unless specified at the time of sale

Parts will carry a minimum guarantee of 30 days and only parts shown on your invoice/receipt are covered by the guarantee/warranty.

If any part supplied by ourselves proves to be faulty during this period, it may be returned to us for an exchange. If no exchange is available within 48 hours a refund will be given.

Any part(s) correctly supplied by us and returned to us within 7 days is subject to a 20% handling charge at the managers discretion.

Engines: Customers must state if ancillaries are required. If request has been made, stating complete engine wanted, this means head, block and sump, it does not mean with ancillaries as these may be sold separately, any ancillaries left on the engine e.g water pump, cam belt(We always recommend the fitting of a new cam belt) are given free of charge and are not covered by this guarantee.

This guarantee is void if any part supplied has been tampered with in any way i.e seal broken, taken apart etc. Please note all parts supplied, are marked with our company stamp/initials, removal of these marks will invalidate your guarantee/warranty.

No parts may be altered, modified or dismantled in anyway (except for routine service adjustment) without our permission. Failure to comply with these terms will invalidate your guarantee/warranty.

Our Guarantee covers parts only.

It does not cover any labour charges or from any fault arising from the fitting of this part.

We will refund the price of the part in full but will not pay for any fitting charges. It is your responsibility to check that any part(s) supplied is correct prior to fitting.

All goods should be inspected upon delivery before signing to ensure that the item has not been damaged during transit. If goods prove to be damaged, do not sign, refuse delivery & contact us within 1 working day. This is to ensure that if necessary, a claim can be made against the courier company.

In the event that the delivery driver does not allow time to inspect the goods sign the Delivery Note to obtain them, but delete any wording in the signature box to the effect that the goods were ‘Received in good condition’.

Mail order: Under selling regulations a PRIVATE CONSUMER has a 7 day “cooling off” period in which he/she may return the goods to us for a refund. However delivery is a separate contract and once completed is non refundable.

Goods once signed for are to be returned at the Customers expense.

In the event that a part is supplied as ordered but the customer had ordered incorrectly, we must be contacted immediately and the part returned to us within 7 days of purchase at the cost of the customer.

Refunds will only be made upon the return of the goods to our premises.

All engines purchased must be fitted with a new timing belt/cam belt/chain and filled with new oil upon installation. Failure to follow this procedure will result in the guarantee/warranty being rendered null and void.

Gearboxes must be filled with new oil upon installation. Failure to follow this procedure will result in the guarantee/warranty being rendered null and void.

Please ensure all goods are checked thoroughly before being signed for. Refunds are not always possible for goods that have been damaged whilst in transit. The words unexamined or unchecked on the delivery note/docket are not acceptable. We will not be held responsible for the refund of goods damaged in transit if they have been signed for as in good condition.
